Marketing with MySpace and Youtube

More and more, companies are using YouTube and other video sites to showcase their product offerings. This is a great way to get the impact of a TV ad inexpensively.

YouTube now has a larger audience base than network television - and you can create a video and post it for a fraction of the cost!For example, a startup called UPRISEtv has just posted a video as a preview of it's upcoming shows/lineup - http://www.uprisetv.com/ .This is a wonderful way to create buzz and anticipation of product launch!





Watch the video above and see what they've done, the key to a successful video is the same as the key to a successful TV ad/spot. You want to keep it short, provide some sort of call to action if you're not advertising a URL, and make it fast paced and ENTERTAINING! The days of simple pet tricks will not fly, your video should be sexy and appeal to the audience that is going to type in your search engine terms
